Welcome

International agreements formalize the relationship between a university, organization, government or agency outside the United States and UCF. Informal collaborations do not need an agreement. However, a formal agreement is required when the relationship involves the commitment of resources, or when the agreement will lead to activities regulated by existing UCF policies, State of Florida, or Federal laws. The Agreement Guidelines discuss the different activities that may require a formal agreement.

The UCF agreement development and approval process is intended to ensure coordination among the appropriate units and authorities, as well as to reduce liability to faculty members, students and to UCF. Before you register or log into the system to formalize an agreement make sure you have done the following:

  1. Review the International Agreement Guidelines
  2. Look over the available information about your institution of interest and consider the reasons for UCF and that institution to develop a formal relationship.
  3. Consult with the head of your unit, as appropriate (e.g., Chair, Director, Dean, Vice-President).
  4. If your interest is developing a study abroad or student exchange, speak with UCF Abroad (studyabroad@ucf.edu)
  5. If your interest is research collaboration, check the information on the Export Compliance Regulation Website (http://www.research.ucf.edu/ExportControl/) or contact the Office of Research and Commercialization.

The process is coordinated by UCF Global. For questions about the agreement process or additional information, please contact us at the phone number or e-mail listed below.
